General Description:
In this position you'll be a critical member of the Human Resources team and the main HR contact for employees during a time of high-growth for the company. You will own the day-to-day management of benefits, compliance, reporting, compensation, HR systems, and employee data management for mSpot. Additionally, you will be a resource for general employee questions, work with employees and managers on issues as needed, and will help the HR team to define and deliver a great workplace for mSpot employees. You will be proactive, detail oriented, organized, customer-service oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects and responsibilities, in a fast-paced office.
Common Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage all benefit plans and programs, including benefit enrollment, ongoing employee assistance and changes. Act as liaison between carriers and employees. Manage broker services and communications of legal notices. Coordinates open enrollment and process all changes.
• Manage 401k enrollments, rollovers, withdrawals and changes. Act as liaison between broker and employees. Ensure compliance and legal requirements are communicated.
• Responsible for compensation analysis and program administration.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on all HR systems (ADP, 401k, & Benefits)
• Assist in new system build outs and new perks roll outs
• Prepare and analyze reports on payroll and HR information
• Collaborate effectively with other Samsung HR global partners
• Help design and lead communication of HR policies and processes.
• Assist in helping to develop our New Hire package and orientation
• Track industry trends and compile data for management review and analysis; recommend changes as appropriate
• Coordinate performance review reports and track performance reviews
• Take an active role identifying, leading and/or supporting HR projects in support of the business.
• Works on special projects such as training, employee morale and goodwill activities
• Maintains the HR section of the company intranet writing new communications as necessary.
• Manage the termination process, including scheduling and conducting exit interviews and severance agreements.
• Address general inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, compensation plans, company policies/processes, onboarding, etc.
Necessary Skills/Attributes
• A minimum of 7 years of general HR experience, ideally at a rapidly growing company
• Benefits administration experience (including leave of absence and COBRA processes) critical
• Knowledge of compensation administration and market practices preferred
• Excellent analytical/organizational skills and detail orientation
• Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks/deadlines
• Business acumen with excellent communication, influence, strategic thinking and creativity, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast paced, rigorous environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and "Customer Focus" with ability to quickly build credibility and effective relationships
• Good team player, but with the ability to work independently and without day-to-day supervision
• Effective collaboration with a global Samsung HR team
• Familiarity with HR policies and practices. Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel. Prior experience working with Word, Excel and HRIS’s (ADP experience preferred)

• BA or BS degree or equivalent
